TBFAA Training
Every month in different locations around the state, TBFAA offers Texas Level 1 training and the TBFAA Fire Alarm Exam Prep. These classes allow you to share experiences with those who have already walked in your shoes!

Texas Level 1 Training
This sixteen hour certified, nationally recognized training program is approved by the Texas Private Security Board (License #0104) and was developed TBFAA to meet the state training requirements for installers and salespersons.

Fire Exam Preparation Course
Beginning in April or May 2008, TBFAA will offer an 8 hour Residential Alarm License (RAL) course followed by an 8 hour Fire Prep Course.
The New RAL Course focuses on code requirements for single-family or two family fire alarm or detection systems.
The New Fire Prep Course covers the remaining sections for NFPA 72, applicable sections of the National Electrical code and highlight applicable sections of NFPA 101 and Standards for Suppression & Control.
